Scarab 22

The Scarab 22 is the same length as the Scarab 670 but quite a different boat. It has more room inside, larger cockpit, is easier to build, can be built from ply or foam sandwich. There are 54 (fifty four) A3 size drawings bound in a folder.

The float construction has been modified to speed up the building process, the beam folding arms are now connected to a support beam which is made from plywood and triaxial fibreglass instead of a fabricated aluminium ring frame, this alone has resulted in a saving greater than the increase in the plan price. There are many other modifications which make the Scarab 22 a better option plus you would probably save at least 100 man hours to build.
