Avalon 9

The Avalon 9.0 is a big trailable yacht. It is a development of the earlier designed 8.2.
The accommodation is similiar to the 8.2 with more space in the main cabin and space for a marine toilet curtained off. Forward is a double berth with stowage under, in the main cabin to starboard is a single berth with a settee below, navigation area with ice box under and shelves above, to port is a settee with stowage bins above, galley area with sink and stove and stowage under. under the cockpit is a large single berth or stowage area.
The berth under the cockpit is 2 metres (6'6") long, all others are longer. The cockpit will seat six but as on most trimarans the nets are a far more comfortable area on which to lounge around. Lockers under the seats are for life jackets, fenders, spare anchor etc.

The Avalon 9.0 is a big yacht and will require a fairly large car to tow it, but once rigged and launched should be easy to sail with a minimum of crew and enough space for extended cruising.
