The Avalon 8.2 is designed for those sailors who want a trimaran for fast cruising with the family and racing with a minimum number of crew members. She is big enough for extended cruising for four and can be raced with three or four experienced crew members.

The accommodation layout has a double berth forward with a portable toilet under, a single berth to the starboard in the main cabin with a single berth/settee below and a settee to port. Galley and ice box are just forward of the main bulkhead. The space under the cockpit can be used as a large single berth or stowage space. Stowage is provided under all bunks and settees with bins above the port settee.

Study Plans: sent in PDF format within 24 hours. Study plans are provided to show a dimensioned general layout and sail plan, accomodation and a basic material list. Some other details may also be included. The boat cannot be built from the study plans but are provided for information and basic pricing.

Plans: The full plan set is required if the you want to build this boat. It contains all the information and dimensions required. The plans are presented in PDF format. These can be printed on your home printer on A4 size paper or sent to a photo copier to enlarge to A3 size. Consists of 35 drawings in PDF format emailed within 24 hours
